Sentencing

A term of imprisonment may be imposed to run consecutively with any other term of imprisonment for the commission of another felony. Second or subsequent convictions for drug dealing can result in higher sentences.

In a felony prison sentence, a person receives a minimum and maximum sentence. The minimum sentence a person actually receives depends on a combination of variable including a person’s prior record and the specifics of the sentencing offense. The maximum sentence is set by law. To determine the potential sentence, speak with a lawyer to compute your felony sentencing guidelines.
